These flows are associated with releases from Lewiston Dam for the purpose of restoring the anadromous fishery of the Trinity River and generally occur in the April through July timeframe. For Jordan Johnson, Maggie Brown, Simone Rau and Carlie McCoy, seniors on Trinity’s varsity girls’ team, Wednesday marked their last home basketball game. The game began with a stalemate. A basket by Brown finally put the Wolves on the scoreboard, and Trinity went into the second quarter leading 74. During the second quarter, baskets by Sarah Curran, a jump shot by Brown and a 2-pointer by Macy Fackrell gave the Wolves enough to hold onto their lead, ending the half 15-8. along with baskets by Nugent and McKnight.
