On Saturday night, tht 28th, a mats meeting of Anti-Bailey Democrats was called, and the Knox City Anti-Bailey Demo- cratic Club was organized. Sam Anderson was elected permanent chairman; and W. M. Sandifer, secretary. "Baileyism" was discus-ed in its various phrases. A motion was made and car- ried that the Club set aside $25 to pay tneir part of the primary expenses. The following resolutions were presented and unanimously a- dopted. 1st. Whereas the time is now upon us to choose men to repre- sent us in the various offices to tie filled this year and to select delegates to the various conven- tions; and believing it to be the duty of every honest citizen to favor an honest administration of publi! affairs both State and Federal.
