Every one of them^are heavily laden, and crowded with passengers. The work-shops of both Old and New England have their ware houses in New Orleans. The productions of the tropica are concentrated there also, whicb, together with the produce of the Western States, of the great Mississippi' Val- ley, go to famish freight for'this immense and increasing trade.
