Elyse Berta scored the only goal for Sachse with an assist from Lisel Kraus. The loss evened the Lady Mustangs' district record at 1-1, m< they fell to 9-4 overall on the season. Brian Pearce was Wylie's top shooter with a 77, placing him 7th out of 80 golfers. Keith Christensen shot an 84 and Trey Whitling had an 88. Nathan Betts and Michael Hambrice also competed on the A team for Wylie. Other scorers for Wylie were Jordan Rose (88), Tim Kaniatobe (88) and Vince Villareal (91). Tournament host Rowlett came in first place. Wylie's next tournament will be Wednesday at Firewheel in Garland. Other tournaments for the Pirates will be March 21 at Firewheel and March 28 at Woodbridge. The district tourna- ment will be April 4 and 5 at a site to be determined. Wylie took six wrestlers to the regional meet, the most in the school's history, and scored 25 team points overall to place them 21st out of 40 teams. The other two region- al qualifiers from Wylie's district, Rockwall and Allen, placed first and sixth, respectively, in the regional meet.
