MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS No stir up to the present time seams to have been made in reference to the forth coming Blayney municipil elections The retiring aldcrmon are Messrs. Fogarty, Patterson, and Watson. Mr. Fogarty does not intend to seek re-election, but it is very probable that Messrs. Patterson and Watson will again be candidates. It i-t rumoured qlso that Messrs. J. Russart and G. Pile will be nominated. To futsome life into the election there should be abiut six can didates, when no doubt the ratepayers would take a lively interest in ths nvittei' in en deavoring to secure the return of their three favourites. We would remind in tending nominators that nominations must be in the hands of the Returning Officer not later than Monday, 24th instant, and also those ratepayers nominating a candidate must have their rates paid before doing so. The day of public nomination will be Tues day, 1st February.
