BOBOOGH COUNCIL. A meeting of the Borough Council was held last evening — present, the Mayor, (pre sidiug) and Aldermen Adams, Myers, Man cine. Sullivan, Armstrong, Abrahams, Feint and El win. A communication on the pro posed loan was read from Mtssrs Rvnwr and Son, solicitor for G-. Laiuell, and it was de cided to advertise the intention to borrow, and the objects thereof as a preliminary to concluding the transaction, but the amount to be £8440 instead of £9000, the authority of the Governor having only been given for the smaller amount. Acting on a suggestion from the Chief Secretary's office, it was re solved to make two valuations of property. . thiB year, one of them being on the unim proved value of property.
