Foreigner Back on Top by Michael Ross Collegian News Editor •Frisbee Material •?Better Than Sominex ••? Have A Friend Make A Tape Of It ' . ••?•Good Album, Buy It ••?••You'll Wear It Out Playing It Agent Provocateur Foreigner Atlantic Records **** Commercial success has and will continue to be no stranger to Foreigner with "Agent Provocateur" riding on the crest of the charts. Foreigner is spearheaded by co-producer Mick Jones, another 'Mr. Everything' who plays guitar, bass, and keyboards and co-writes songs with lead singer Lou Gramm. On this album Jones puts his guitar in the backseat as Foreigner opts for a barrage fo synthesizers. In addition to Jones's synthesizers, extra help was sought from five other keyboardists resulting in some of the best synthesized music to come out in some time. A standout is the song "That Was Yesterday" which sounds like Jones is playing in your living room. Foreigner throws in everything except the kitchen sink on the number one pop single...

Mississippi, has published some 30 short stories. Soon to be published is a novella entitled Blackletter,2nd a book on Polish science fiction writer Stanislaw Lem. It is curious to note that Lem's recognitin in the U.S. comes from the wider literary circles, rather than science fiction circles. For example, his writing has been published in The New Yorker,~aXher than in science fiction journals. "Lem," says Davis, "is able to combine unusual human motivations and intellectual problems with science fiction. He avoid...
