This subject was made a question for discussion in the House yesterday, in connection with a proposition for the enactment of some law for the relief of debtors. It was arrued by the friend of the proposition, that it was unfair to deprive the farmer, the manufactu- j rsi an. i the mechanic of the markets which thev hare relied upon for the sale of the products of their labor and yet permit the laws for the en forcemeut of the collection of debts to remain in full force against them If deprived of a market resources sre cut off and they are unable to meet their obligations.
