FEICIANA SENTIN L. Special Correspondence. Enrto 8.xxTINrL : WASHINOTONx, D. C., Nov. 12, 1877. CoxonRse since our last has dragged along its Extra-session, and taken no doe finite action in any way on anything be fore them fearful of the influence their conduct might have on the late elections, and now we shall expect them to settle down to business, as the fall horse racing and other eleetios are all over. FELICIANA SENTIN'IL. A TERRIBLE I4ETTER. INew York Times.J A great deal of discussion has arisen sirco Mrs. Stuart committed suicide, as to the nature of four letters left by her and written just before she took poison. The rous: strenuous efforts have been made by the friends of the deceased to supv;ress these epistles, and Coron er Woltman has refused to make them public. It has been learned, however, that three of these letters were to relatives. and merely sta ted that she had determined to live so longer, bade them tprewell, and asked their pardon for her deter, mination. 'Iho fourth letter was addressed to her husband. It was couched in mild and affectionate language, but was absolutely terri ble in its contents. It called the attention of Mr. Stuart to their wedding six months ago. It refer red to the homes they had left to go through the world together. It re minded him of the blessinug, happi ness and prospects they had started out with, and recalled the good reasons the br...

,FELICIANA SENTINT 'L. evidence by counsel, knowlng its real ebaraoter, would be extremely danger one. It would not only 'bo rejected, but the guilty connbelor would be punished, not in the same way (for there is a tech nical difference), but on the sanm princi pie, that courts punish the ntteranice of counterfeit money. To pollute the ad nministration ofjustice by passing false and fraudulent documents upon a court is, indeed, very much worse than "'shov ing the queer" upon a shopkeeper. Of' course, the wickedness of all fiis depends on the sceaster.. Invollntary ig norance would be an excuse.
