Three quartz mills and about twenty arras tras are now working gold rock in this county, reduc ing between two hundred and two hundred s.Dd fifty tons of rock each week, and adding, to the wealth of the world, about o,0O0 a week, a sum which, with men, means and machinery to work one-fourth the number of paying mines in the county, could be in creased to about Sr00,000. Besides these mills, two more will very coon be erected and running, close to Pres cott and chances arc that a lare mill will, this summer be put up in Bradshaw moun tains. Kow, as there are four other counties in the Territory, containing numerous ledges of gdid, silver and copper, people who care to, can imagine what Arizona will yet be.
