The hride is from S. Carolina; and her father and her former husband, both of whom have been dead many years, were wealthy planters. ACCOUNT OP THE EXPEDI TION AGAINST CUBA. Key West. May 22. On the 2d May, 1850, the l.rij Susan Loud left tlm city of New Or leans, having on bonnl 150 officers nnd men, under the cnmmanil of Col. Wc remained there two days nnd again got under way and proceed ed to a small uninhabited island, some fifteen miles distant, where we met Col. O'llara, in barque Georginnn, with 250 men. who joined us. Hav ing our full compliment, amounting to some 000 men, including officers, we pot under way and arrived at the port of Cardenas (Cuba,) on Sunday morn ing, May 1!), at about 1 A.
