ALL THE PEOPLE IN THE WORLD. INTERESTING AND STARTLING FACTS ABOUT THE EARTH'S POPULATION. [Newspaper Article] — Tocumwal Guardian and Riverina Stock Journal — 25 April 1919

ALL THE PEOPLE IN THE WORLD. INTERESTING AND STARTLING",• FACTS ABOUT THE EARTH'S POPULATION. When one is told that the j>ref*onfc population of the earth in, as nearly as can he estimated, 1,623,000,000, tho figures convey little of its vaatnw»to the untrained mind. We get nearer, however, to a con ception, when we learn that if all the people now living on our planet, wero roarehnlled thirty-seven nbrenst> with a yard interval between succes sive ranks, the imposing column of humanity would be lung enough to stretch completely round the equator.
