: jI for the Elderl As a healing tonic to those of advanced years, Angler's Emulsion is invaluable. It is unequalled for relieving coughs and for chronic catarrhal affections generally, whether of throat, lungs, stomach or intestines. It is also a tonic to appetite and digestion, and exerts a most invigorating influence upon the general health. There is no better tonic for the aged and feeble, and none that has such soothing, comforting effects. It is pleasant to take either unidiluted, or in water, soda-water, milk, wine, whiskey, etc. ANGER M LSIO s'Subject to Bronchitis, 74 Years of age." eaists 28 Belle Vue Road, Colchester. Ifs 2s9 Dear Sirs,--Towards the last of a long and and 4/6. serious illness my doctor ordered me to take Angier's Fnulsion, telling me that it would do me more good than anything else. As soon as I commenced taking it my health began to improve. I put on flesh, and in a short time I was quite restored to my usual health. I am seventy-four . years of age, and...

Children and Flowers. [Newspaper Article] — Hawthorn, Kew, Camberwell Citizen — 24 July 1914

:, -! iL Children and Flowers. Wise and loving parents want their c hildren to be educated to enjoy what is .beautiful in art, in literature, and in nature. They may question the influ eonce ot luxurious living, may fear the effect of elegant surrouudings as induc ing indolence of mind and body, or as fostering. a spirit of discontent, but they cannot think that a life of " plain living and high thinking" would exclude plea sure in a sunny sky or a modest flower. The little garden where the children are : allowed.to have a plot of their own af ,fords one of the most innocent delights of childhood. The planting, the weed ing, the watching for the first blossom, keep the whole family interested, and it is the most thoroughly natural and healthful .leasure a child can have. There is in all this a sense of ownership ii'hich is as unselfish as possession can be, for connested with it is usually the -desire to give away the first fruits as an offering to friendship or charity. * The flowe...
