Mix 1 cupful of butter, 2 cupfuls of pulverized sujwr, 1 cupful of sweet milk, 4 cupfuls of flour, 2 teaspoonfuls cream-tartar, 1 teaspoon ful soda, and the whites of 8 eggs beat en stiff. Rice Cakes. Meltl pound of butter in 3 pints of milk, stir in 2 tablcspoon ful of w heat fiour, and as much rice flour as will make a still batter; add 2 eps3 well beaten, 1 teacupf ul of yeast, 1 teaspoon salt. Bake on the gnddle. Si'Ajsish Cueaji. 3 tablespoonfuls of bilttt, ground rice, yelks of 3 egg', 3 spoonfuls of water, 2 of orange-flow er water, 1 pintxf cream, 2 spoonfuls of fine sugar.
