In reading over their resolutions which ten votes, and none against, wc discover that Gov. Pack or has not received honorable notice, not indeed no notice at all. The annul Convention of the Epiucopal Unurco of J-'ennujlvania wrb held in Phil adelphta last week, occupying four days The, most important transaction, and that which excited much public interest, wan the election of an Assistant Disbop, tore Here Bishop Potter of the burden of hi labors. Ihe Convention waj nearly e qually devided between high and low church, and the balloting lasted for two days before a choice was effected. Dr. Bowman of Lancaster, bih church, and Dr. Vinton, of 13o.-ton, low church, were the leading candidates. On the sixteenth ballot.
