WEEKLY BAZOO. SEDALIA, Mo., TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 21. 1880. Milo Blair. In giving a brief sketch of the re publican elate nominees, the State Journal has the following: Milo Blair, the nominee for lieutenant-governor, is a well known citizen of central Missouri. He came to the state from Michigan in 1865, locating at Boonville, Mo., at which place he established the Boonville Eagle, and, although in the midst of bourbon democracy, the paper was potent in disseminating republican principles and contributing to the material de velopment of the locality in which it was published. He is a self made man and a member of the "art pre servative of all arts," and educated himself at the case. As a writer he is terse and vigorous, and there are but few editors in the state who cau han dle a more facile and pungent pen. Like all successful self-made men, he is a hard student, and by incessant ap plication has acquired an almost inex haustible fund of knowledge. Not being a politician, Mr. Blair h...
