The use of ac curate 'limit-gauge, instead of micro meters or calipers, is strongly urged, even in small shops. There is, he says, a widespread and erroneous idea, particularly among European manu facturers who desire to emulate Amer icans, that the latest methods cannot be economically adopted except where work is thoroughly standardized, spe cialized and made in large quantities.
