Correspondence. [We do not necessarily identity ourselves with the opinions expressed by correspondents.] A DISAPPOINTMENT. [TO THE EDITOR OF THE TIMES.] [Newspaper Article] — The Yackandandah Times — 30 December 1890

Correspondence,   [We do not identify ourselves with opinions expressed by correspondents.] A DISAPPOINTMENT. TO THE EDITOR OF THE TIMES.]   Sir, — The Hillsborough cricketers and inhabitants received very mean treatment at the hands of the Beech- worth team on Saturday, the 20th instant. The latter team certainly   deserve a severe rebuke for the     unmanly way they acted, for after sending a challenge to play Hills-         borough on the Saturday, they never turned out, nor did they even send an apology for their non-appearance. All things were prepared for their reception, which means a considerable amount of trouble to a country team. It is to be hoped that they will not make promises in future that they never intend to fulfil. Thanking you in anticipation for the insertion of   this. — Yours, &c.,   Fair Play.
