SOROSES LIQUID FACE POWDER. In these days of outdoor life—motor ing, golfing, boating, etc.—a reliable and harmless liquid powder is one of the ne cessities of life. Soroses Liquid Face Powder is found by experts to be a per fectly invaluable preparation and a de cided improvement on the old fashioned dry powder. Besides improving the apf earanco , it acts'1 as a shield to thie delicate skin of the face against hp winds. dusc, smuts, and other extrat neous matter. Price 2s 6d, Obtainable at F. E. Northc»tt, Nathalia. The interesting suggestion has been made by Mr. A. A. Bilison, M.L.A , that the lavish ^ planting of pine trees in infected districts might be found to check the spread of the weed known as St John's Wort. The theory is that the pines would suck the nourishment riut >f the soil, and' the shedding of u.j needles would cover the woer. and rob-it of light and air.
