STATE «_JOI\ VI_.XTIOA From Ihe Oomocralic Union DEMOCRATIC The delegates chosen to represent the different counties of Pennsylvania in a Democratic State Convention, for the nomination of a candidate for Canal Commissioner, convened in the court house in _Harrisburg, on Wednesday, March 4, 1846. The convention met at three o'clock. P. M„ when Mr. A. P. Wilson moved the appointment of R. C. Hale, ol Mifflin, as Chairman for temporary organization, and Ileah Frazer, nominated Gen. W. T. Rogers, of Bucks, and both were declared elected by their respective friends, and both took seats as presiding officers.
