THE RANDALL COUNTY NEWS, DECEMBER 17. 190 Attendance at the Various Normals. In several of the Texas papers, there have been articles saying that the increased demands for teachers in the public and rural schools of Texas, has filled the present state normals to their ! fullest capacity. THE -RANDALL COUNTY NEWS. Vol. XIII. Canyon, Randall County, Texas, Friday, December 24, 1909. No. 39 Naval Stores Important in Industrial History. "The naval stores industry is one of the oldest industries in the United States, deriving its name from the fact that in the early days pitch from pine trees was commonly used to make wooden vessels water-tight," says II.
