Wonders Fashioned by the Master Hand in Yellowstone Park , AN OMAHA VISITOR IMPRESSED Majestic Views of Mountain and Plain , Canyon und Lake. Spring * and Spouters Wayside Scenes. ( Sunday Bee , Oct. 5. ) "The American people do not seem to appreciate the many natural beau ties of this country a0 much as they should. " These remarks were ad dressed to a Bee reporter by Dr. W. I. Seymour of this city , who has just re turned from an extensive trip through the northwest. "I have read much and heard a great deal about the Yellowstone park , but had a very dim conception of what a visit to this fairyland of America real ly meant until I actually visited it. YELLOWST DNE FALLS , cases a beautiful pink , in others blue , brown , and so forth. Leaving these paint pots and mud geysers , we reach the mouth of the Grand Canyon. This is said to be the most wonderful can yon in the world , in the coloring and formation of the rocks , which form the great walls. They are something Indescribable , and contain all the col ors in the rainbow , but the predomi nating color seems to be gold , or yel low , from which the park derives its name. Driving along the edge of this canyon to the point of prominence which extends from the road out into the canyon you look down many thou sands of feet into the Yellowstone river , which rum at the bottom of the canyon , and , although a body of water some thirty rods wide and quite deep , it seems like a mere blue thread windIng - Ing its way along the bottom of the jjreat cliffs. Nearly half a day was dnsumed in winding pur way down the steep cliffs and narrow paths to the bottom of the canyon , which af fords...

V EYES THAT ARE DANGEROUS COLOR AND SIZe OF PUPIL IN DICATE MUCH TO THE SPECIALIST. Into the \Vlndovra of the Soul Han It * Drawbacks Character and Temperament Indicated by Color of the Iris. One of the latest society fads , which promises to eclipse palmistry , thought- reading , pin-finding and all other im aginations of the heart and the intel lect that have found work for idle 'brains to do , is that of character read ing by the eyes. The fact that the eye is "the window of the soul" would make it seem probable that by its light we may distinguish the inner mind and possibly mala guess at the interior decoration of the palace of thought Like other windows , especially those of cathedrals , the eye is of various colors , and consequently the views ob tained through it are tinged by its hues. A blue eye sh ws the mind in a different light from that given by a black , hazel or brown one , and a part of the opticist's art is to differentiate and to decide on the meaning of the vario...
