A little four-year-old, residing a liort tlistauee from this city, was say ing tlia Lord' Prayer a short timo ago at liis mother' knee, and after ho had finished it liis mother said, "Now, Bandy, ask God tc make yon a good boy." Tha child raised hit eyes ta his mother's for a few raontents, at if in ilocp thought, and thou startled her with the following reply: "It's no uw, ma. He won't do it I've atked him a heap of times." A woman found occasion to call upon a dentist to have her teeth filled. Among those filhd were two front ne, and when in a -pleasant mood the lady's face shone with smiles, while polished gold glittered from the upper incisors. The following is a common process : She has been married about a month to a- husband who has been a little fast; but he promises reforma tion, and starts off matrimonially, he resolving to settle down and become a model family man. The first few weeks go off well ; he spends every evening at home with the goose, who imagines there is to be no end to the honeymoon. But one day the hus band meets a friend, and that friend badgers him about the constraint of married life, eto.
