November 29. at the 6; JO p.m. Mass, A large Advent Wreath, made by members of the Sacred Heart Parish CYO under the supervision of M,s. Jerry Hibig, adult supervisor, and smaller wreaths made by families in the parish were blessed by Father Leonard Leddy, pastor. The Advent Wreath is made of a circle of ever- greens surrounding four candles, and is used throughout the Advent Season. Tuesday night, Smtth- ville hosted a fine Moulton team and managed to stay even for a half. In spite of a tight Tigerette defense, headed by Mary Ann Henderson, the Moulton squad pulled ahead in the third period and held to to win 47-35. Smithville stored a respectable 35 percent of their field shots but netted only 38 percent from the free throw line. JoAnn Oliver was high scorer for the home sextet with 14 points. In the Rockdale Tournament, Smith- ville started off butting heads with a 44 squad, L.B.J. High School of Austin.
