FROM A CORRESPONDENT; " Our knowledge of the vegetable and mineral kingdom', of this Colony is as yet in a «tate of nifanc\ ; that m my useful and valuable productions may be obtained from them is evident. On a cursory view of the vegetable kingdom, we find that one single specie»-«produces in abundance two very general and exiettsively useful vegetable productions, viz: tan and gum.
