DISTRICT NEWS. (FROM OUb OWN COKRESPOXDIItra.) Carrathool. April 27. We have to chronicle the death of a very old and highly esteemed resi dent of this district, Mr James Camp bell, of Mulberrygong, who peacefully passed away on Saturday morning, the 20th inst., at the age of 66. The immediate cause of death was acute bronchitis. Mr Uampbell had, uow ever, been unwell for some time past, and had undergone an operation in Sydney, at the hands of Dr Fiaschi and two other surgeons, and the dos tors considered him so far cured as to permit him to attend the f unoral of the late Governor. However, ho was seized with bronchitis, and the disease obtaining such a firm hold on him, and Mr Campbell feeling that his end was approaching, felt a long ing to die in his own home, so thither he was brought two days before his decease, with all the tender care pos sible by MrsJCampbell and Mr John Campbell, one of his sous. Although he suffered a great deal, his end was verycalm, and he passed away ...
