For some time now it has been known that the Roads and Bridges De partment has intended' re-decking Cameron's Bridge below the Mount Barker Rest Home,-and on Monday Mr. Richardson, one of the Depart ment's engineers, visited Mount Bar ker for the purpose of inspecting the bridge. As production in South Australia is still failing the shortage of local supplies is being made up by importations from the eastern States. Tile output of butter iir Victoria is declining somewhat rapidly, hut this is more than made up hy larger production in New South Wales and Queensland where rains have hten most benelicial in the dairying districts. Ex ports from New South Wales and Queens land for the week ended January 29th amounted to more than 40.000 boxes.
