OB 4 ) UEEN , ARK ., PEACHES . . ; • Crop of 1 , 500 Cars Probable—Good Prices Looked For . . DeQueen , Ark ., May 10 . —The peach terop in Missouri has been killed ; in the central west , in the North and East it is reported there will be no peach crop ; from many parts oi • Texas the outlook is tlte same . But it is not so in De Queenland , • ays the Bee . Never in the brief kistory of peach growing in Sevier county have the prospects been more flattering . The trees have all the fruit they can take care of ; in many orchards it will require thinning , leaches are now large , and the indications point to earlv maturity and we would not be surprised to see the r . lberta ripening by July 1 . St Louis , May lO . —The fruit and produce business in St . Potatoes , after the skyrocket-like advance of the previous week , came down like the proverbial stick , as dealers yhad stocked up heavily on the advance , and notwithstanding the bullish advices from northern loading stations , and comparatively light receipts cars began to accumulate on track and the shiDDinE ! demand was rather slow . Some of . the receiver * , however , who had cars headed ttis way nad foresight enough to divert them to other markets .
