Mr. Dan O'Lcnry one of the lest posted xnea in regard to Indian aflairs in this sec tion of the Territory niitl who has the confi dence of the Iluttlapai Indians, gave us the information which we published a few weeks since in regard to the Apache Mojares being off their reservation, the Sau Carlos, and as living in the vicinity of the Santa Maria. "We were satisfied that his statements were strictly true, knowing Dan as we do, and that when he gives important facts that he has satisfied himself as to their correctness. Since we published tnc fact that it was our belief that many Apache Mojave Indians were off their reservation, Governor SatTord has been to Mojave county in a buggy fol lowing the main traveled road from Wick cnburg to Greenwood and did cross the Santa Mu:ia at one place going to the aforesaid town of Greenwood and did not see any Apache Mjavc Indian j.
