A 0Coal MiNhiig COIllipIIty itn Iiqtuidttion. Thie Mireoo, ioiHlarn, tndl ?[e Coal Syndi ncate Co. has been put in liquidation. This CIIurse was etermlillet d tupon at a mieeting of the shalrchlders held in Melbourne Inst Monday. This is nit a cheering announce ment, and altiogether coal-mining is at a rather low chb in the htirbon district, which this celipalny wvs formne to priopect. As a set off to this we lave the lihtlara mine, the prospects of which are exceedingly good ; the Mliu mine, from which ahbout :100 tons of good coal are being obtained weekly; and, Inst and greatest, the Great Morwell Coal Miting Co.s mine, at the Latronlo river, which bidl fair to be one of the biggest things of the kind in Australia, if the experiment mentioned in another furnishes reliable data npon, which to found a judg ment, and tliere aphears to be no reason to doubt that the experiment was a genuine one.
