WOOL AND TALLOW. The sales of Colonial wool wcro progressing very satisfactorily, the finer scoured fleeces realising un precedented rates. We report in another column the latest sales of wool shipped from this colony. In some superior clips the advance on the previous sales was ho less than 7d. per ib. The February sales opened with an averago advance of 2d. on last November's rates ; subsequently tho advance was firm at 3d. We quote Messrs.
