ARRIVAL AT PORT CURTIS.       November 16- Persia, ship, 1600 tons, Captain Smith. ' with 438 Government immigrants, equal to 387 1/2 statute adults. Bound for Moreton Bay.   The Persia arrived in Port Curtis on the l6th inst., having been a hundred days out. We hare been favoured with a few particulars by Mr. James Ross, the schoolmaster on board. The Persia experienced heavy weather in thc Channel. Crossed the line on the 12th of Sep- tember. On the 12th of the same month, a fire broke out on boaard. It originated from the bakehouse. Fortunately, it was soon put out. A hole was burnt through the main deck, near the married mens' compartments. About 12 o'clock on the night of the 10th Oc- tober, land was sighted a short distance ahead. It was raining heavily, and being very dark the land was not observed until the ship was close on it. Her course was immediately changed. The land proved to be Marion Island of the Croxet Group.
