SAILINC RACE. The second race for thle Marshall Cup was sailed on Easter londay. The first race was won by Mr. Alf Patterson's Scout. Since then several new hoats have been added tothe fish. ing fleet, and a good deal of interest was felt as to how they would shape in good Company. These were the Adeline, owned by Mr. Murdoch M'Donald, and the Nancy, owned by Mr. Chas. Keiller. Like the Scout, they are 30-footers, and accordingly met on even terms. The fourth starter was the Florence, owned by Mr. Gil bert Guy. She was designed by the late Mr. G. H. Tulloh, and .yas locally built, and has won a good many races. Being only 26 feet, sile received a time allowance of 4min. The race was over a triangular course of about 15 miles. The day was favour able for good sai' ing, the sea being smooth and the wind moderate and steady.
