BOOR1NGA SHIRE TO BORROW £3275 FOR MITCHELL STREET WORKS PLAN Booringa Shire Council has decided to borrow £3275 for a programme of street works at Mitchell. A resolution to borrow this sum was passed at a meeting held at the Mitchell Council Chambers this month. Councillors K. Louglinan and Nciberding moved that the'Cowjcil apply to the Public Works Secre tary for his decision as to whether street works would benefit the whole area, or only one particular part. 'J'Jie Council's opinion wus that it would benefit tin: whole urea. The financial statements showed that accounts paid since last meeting amounted to £3789/14/8. General fund and accounts pre sented to the meeting amounted to £815/13/.
