ran Local Boards Hold Men Attacks Performs Tonight College Extension Lauded At Investigation Hearing Lehigh, Franklin Farmers Testify HARRISBURG, March 24.— The Pennsylvania State College extension service won praise from Lehigh County farmers today in the fourth weekly hearing held by a House committee investigating charges that the College and the state Soil Conservation Board are not cooperating with the federal soil erosion program. All appropriations to the College are being held up until the probe is completed. Witnesses at the three previous hearings concurred in testimony that the extension service hindered efforts to start soil control projects. Farmers from Lehigh and Franklin counties testified at today's hearing. The Lehigh farmers expressed opposition to the federal program but said the College extension has helped them. In explaining why a referendum to establish a soil erosion district in Lehigh County was defeated, P. D. Frantz said "those in charge of...

Anna Kaskas Program Non-Fraternity Rinqmen Postponed Four Days .. . _ ' mn 3 !I,,cn _i Arrive For 7th National Tourney _, _, Men Asked To IF Annual The Anna Kaskas number on the Artists' Course has been postponed four days, from Thursday; April _^7 , to Monday, April 21, Dr. Carl E. " Marquardt, committee chairman, announced yesterday. The occasion for the postponement was a misunderstanding on the part of the Columbia Concerts Corporation and the Metropolitan Opera Association, of which Miss Kaskas is one of the leading singers. The broadcasting company assumed in error that Miss Kaskas would be available on April 17. At that time,, however, she is scheduled to appear with Madam Kirsten Flagstad in "Die Walkuere" during the Metropolitan's week in Cleveland. Miss Kaskas regularly appears with Madame Flagstad in that role, so no other arrangement could be made. For the second consecutive year, non-fraternity men have been invited to attend Interfraternity Ball and tickets m...
