THE TIMES QLilSKOW, Mo. THURSDAY, MAY 15, 1851. The Favette Road. We ore grati pod to learn that an effort is on foot at Fayette, to secure half the stock neces sary to complete a Dank Road from that place to tins. J lie proposition is for twenty different individuals to pledge themselves for the required amount; more than half the number has been secured, and the thing is con sidered settled that the whole number can and will be had. This liberal spirit muat be cordially met, and we have no doubt will. It is to be regretted that the county was prevented from assist ing the liberal spirit of her citizens, in this improvement, which would have been belter prosecuted by an associat ed effort; but notwithstanding this, the friends of the work have reason to con gratulate themselves at the present fa vorable prospects.
