This information was cleaned from a bound edition of The Collegian dated 1913. Here is an example quoted grom the book. "The Coggln girls were delighted to receive an invitation to meet with the Pi Alphas on Feb. 3. The socie- ties adjourned to Willis Creek and the girls had a lazy restful good time on its banks. Ice cream cones were pass. ed around and we ate to the tune of "Slumber Boat" sung by Misses Vida George Vera Zumwalt and Mildred Saunders. Both the cones and the music were greatly enjoyed. ' HILL BILLY SPORTNEWS Daniel Baker Beats Trinity 13-10; Retains ConferenSiipremacy SIDELINE SHOTS Wow! Here's to home-coming and the McMurry game. And as we think over the situation we find that the records of the past are none too pleasing to us especially those since 1928. Every since McMurry entered the football scenes of this section the Billies and the Indians have been heated rivals. Daniel Baker and McMurry have been meeting each other for ten years this season's bat. tie making the eleventh argument be. twecn these two schools. McMurry a Methodist Institution is a compar. atlvely young institution having been built In the period between 1920 and 1925. In another section of the Collegian will be found results of BUlie-Indlans games since 1925. It is interesting in a way; then too it gives a feeling of displeasure to notice that not since 1928 have the Billies beaten the Red- skins. It is noted also that in the first four games the McMurry elevens never scored on the Billies ...
