And all this has been brought about 1 because people listened to a smoothed-tongued agent. Thev are a part of the part of tiie lot of gve hundred buggies in this section by a foreign company last Bummer. These buggies were all sold and notes taken in k payment, secured by mortgages. Hard times came along and the people were unable to meet the notes. Th- company sued and trot judgemen took the buggies and sold them. The judgement still holds oyer the fellow who gave the note and when he ac- cumulates any property not mor- tgaged it can be taken to salify the judgement, and he has no bupa:. f he buggies all brought from thirty to forty dollars, depend- ing on the size.
