The San Antonio Express is the .army man's paper. This fact adds weight and interest to these remarks by its editor: This week the citizen soldiery of Texas is in camp at Austin, for the first time since the new Federal military law became effective. The good effects of that law are already apparent. The State troops, for the first time are properly armed and equipped and their officers are given the ac- tive co-operation and advice of regular army offi- cers in the work of drill and maneuver.
