Meeting COMMEMORATING DUAL PLANE LANDING DISCUSSED No Action To Be Taken At Present No action is to be taken at present by the Hume Shire Council to commemorate the landing of the interlocked 'planes at Brocklesby recently. This was decided at a meeting of the council last Friday. The shire engineer (Mr. W. A. Welsh) stated in his report that he had prepared a sketch of a proposed monu ment, as requested by the council, and the cost of a concrete pillar, with a granite slab and incised lettering, would be about £20, while if it were enclosed with concrete and pipe rail fencing, approximately 12 feet square, it would cost about £45.
