(Meadow Bank). Miss Bull, who had been the moving spirit in the matter, kindly inritcd all members to at tend, and at about four o'clock there were about thirty pteseut, and a large majority of the fair, sex, which ient quite a pleasing spectacle to the ground. Although most of tbe members were amateurs, there was some very good play, ana cue uaiis were Kept go ing till six o'clock, when an adjournment was made to Metilow Bank House, where there was a sumptuous supper awaiting. After- ample justice had been done to the many daiuties provided, dancing was com menued, aud kept going till one o'clock, wheu tea, and coffee and light refreshments were handed round.
