MEAGHER COUNTY, MONTANA, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 1910 No. it DISCUSS WATER WORKS PLANS City Council Hears Report of Engi neer Thorpe on Water Works System. The city council last night, after transacting the general routine of business, listened with great interest to the report of Engineer Thorpe of Bozeman on different aspects of the proposed system. Before Mr. Thorp was called on to speak to the council, the city attorney was instructed to draft an ordinance combining the offices of city treas urer and city clerk. City Clerk Camp bell reported that the bonds for the water works had been signed, and that the $15,000 would be at the dis posal of the council in a few days. Mr. Thorpe stated that the Town of Harlowton was idealy situated for a gravity system, but that the amount of bonds voted would not. put in wa ter in all parts of the town. The amount was sufficient to make a be ginning on a good system...
