Tlie extensive foundry and locomotive works belonging to Hinckley, Williams ; '& Co., on Harrison avenue, Boston, for- j merly known as the B_aton Locomotive ' Works, was nearly destroyed by lire on Saturday night. Also a large uuoccu-I pied building adjoining, in which svere I stored four locomotives riveiilly sold by the fioverninenl to private parties. The latter building is owned by the heirs of the Int.* Edward Molt Robinson. The total loss is estimated at sTo.'MKi.
