The Pacoima quarry is supplying 100 tons a day when worked for two s hour shifts. “Returning from Pacoima, I went through Glendale and the Eagle Rock Valley. The grading of the road to Eagle Rock has been of great service to traffic, although no paving contract litis I ecu let. Goode of the Glendale and Eagle Rock Rail way Company to extend that line to their respective towns. La Canada citizens want the line extended east through their town to Pasadena, but the grades are so heavy the company is slow iu making a proposition cover ing the three points. The services last Sabbath were delightful. The singing could not have been better.
