IJ —W>— Three men have been charged with bribery and conspuiracy to com- mit felony as city, county and po- lice moved to smash a gambling case described by investigators as astounding. Shortly after Police Chief Carl Hanttson announced the arrests late last night, Dallas county Sher- iff-elect Steve Guthrie suid he had been offered $40,000 a month as a cut on gambling profits. Guthrie is to take the office New Year's Day. Police listed two men as charged and held without bond. They are Paul Rowland Jones, 37, of Dallas, and Romeo Jack Natti, 26. of Chi- cago.
