It is proposed to visit Tocumwal 011 Wednesday, llith instant, arriv ing from Finley at about 10 a.m. It Is desir.d to push ou to Muhvala, Corowa and other portions of lli-j .electorate so as to permit of the express for Sydney bung caught at Culcaiin on that night. Mr. Ball desires it to be known that he and Mr Ashford will be happy to receive any representa tions affccting their respective departments that local public bodies may desirs to make during their short ttay in Tocuimval. Soldiers' Memorial Movement. STRONG SUPPORT FOR A MEMORIAL HALL. Not more than 20 residents at tended the meeting held in the Pa vilion Hall on Wednesday night, when the proposal to erect a Sol diets' Memorial (a movement initi ated in 1917) was again brought up for public consideration. Cr Davies was vuted lo the chair •It was explained til it uo minutes were available of the previous pub lie meeting, held August, 1917, but it was thought a resolution had -been carried at that meeting to erect an obelisk on a site to be sel ected. A back issue of the "Guard ian" was • resurrected, and this contention was found to be correct. The feeling at Wednesday night's meeting, however, seemed to be all in favor of the erection of a Memor ial Hall.
