QUARTZ CRUSHING MACHINERY. [Newspaper Article] — Temora Herald and Mining Journal — 8 September 1882

QUARTZ CRUSHING MA CEINERY. Tmc importance of the introdaction of qaartz -crushing machinery, on this goldfield, can hardly be oyer-estimated, 4is the future prosperity of the pl&ae : vill depend in a great def^reo on the ] flpeedj and suooeaaful accomplishment of fhis fact For tills reason it i«| naimuuu v» suvu a uwinioie ODjBCb I Considering tho difficulty of nusiug | capital at tho present time, it is not I trell that the projected quartz-crushing company should, be hampered in its operation bj the inenmnf; of any un necessary expense that might be avoided without danger of imperilling ultimate success. It may be considered an advantage to hare everything new, but if a second-hand crushing plant and machinery, equally effective, can , lie purchased for little more than half the price, it would be obvioudy to tli* advantage of the projectors to adopt the latter. There can be no doubt that the 1 8-stamper plant, recom mended by Mr Da Boos, at a oost of £800, is far prefera...
