BOWLS. IVANHOE RECREATION ASSO CIATION. MATCI[ AG.AINST NORTIICOTE. Notes by "' Sir Francis." Owing to the very unpleasant and un seasonable weather of last week, the Victorian Bowling Association declared all pennant m:atches off last Saturday. It was also notilied that a Satnrday would be set apart later in the scason to play the gamnes arranged for that afternoon. T'hle A team of Ivanhoe were to play Northcote on tlhe Northeocte green, and Mr. Campbell, the hen. secretary of Northlote, informed MIr. A. B. Sloan, the Iranhoe executive oilicer, that the Northlcote green was in capital order, and that the match could be brought off. All the Ivanhoe team, with the exception of M?r. F. Bryant, were present, and at a meeting of the team prior to the start of the match, it was agreed that the game should be a non-pennant one, as the ab sence of one of the Ivanhoe skippers would be too much of a handicap. Great Good News Campaign. The above campaign has developed large audiences, great sermons and many cases of conversions. Dr. Henry is a great preacher, and grows on one. His addresses during the week have increas ed in poiwer and intensity. Great meet ings are planned for Saturday night and Sunday.
