FqCf a cold on t*ie chest there is no better specific, for most persons, than well boiled or roasted onions. They may not fagree with every one, but to persona with good digestion they will not only be found to be a most excellent remedy for a cough, and the clogging of the bronchial tabes, which is usually the cause of the cough, but if eaten freely at the outset of a cold, they will usually break up what promised, from the severity of the attack, to .have been a serious one. < A^writer in one of our medical journals recently recommended the giving of young raw onions to children three or four times a week, and when tbey get too large and strong to .be eaten raw, then boil and roast them, but 'not abandon their f...

DISTRICT BOUNDARIES. TO THE EDITOR. Sir*-I did not intend to bare troubled yon again on the above subject had not your correspondent" Ninnea Ratepayer," wished me to explain what I was driving at in my last. If he has common sense he will understand my letter of tbe 1ft inst. But I will try to help him to under stand it. How selfish and dis honest/ He says it takes a thief to catoh a thief. X am glad I have caught tbe old thief that waa trying to deprive us of our righ...
