SCOUTS OWN SERVICE Boy Scouts and Girl Guides from all towns between Helensburgh and Kiama turfied out in full force last Sunday afternoon to attend the 23rd Annual Scouts and Guides Own Empire Service. The service was held in the Strand Theatre, Corrimal, and was pre ceded by a' procession from Rothery Road, led by the Balgownie Band under the conductorship of Mr. C. Tucker. The Area Commissioner, Mr. C. F. T. Jackson, presided and. on the stage with him were Scout and Guide Officials, Misses Eleanor Maiming and Grace Pritchard (Guide Com missioners), Messrs. A. S. Hoskins, R. J. Craig, T. Tobe, H. Degotardi, L. Vidler, W. J. Gaynor (Executive Scout Officers), Miss Flora Macdon-. aid (Scout Secretary), Messrs. J. A. Sykes, G. Jaques, C. Duncan, C. Gi.
